Hello! My name is Renee Knoble, and I am a new psychotherapist at New Growth Mental Health Counseling!

 

My professional background is in the field of social work in the area of health, aging, and disability, and I am open to providing psychotherapy services to individuals across the lifespan. I received my Master of Social Work degree (MSW), and Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and I am currently licensed as an Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW). I have completed therapeutic training in both bottom up (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and top down approaches (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) for psychotherapeutic interventions. 

 

Helping individuals build skills in learning to detect safety, skills for dampening down the body’s response to stressors, healthy strategies for coping, and interpersonal effectiveness skills/skills for building social connection to help improve quality of life are of particular interest to me.
